Subscribers of cellular operators can use a service such as SMS. It consists in sending and receiving short text messages via a mobile phone. The world's first message was sent in December 1992, and now people cannot imagine life without this service. Some still face such a problem as inability to use this option.
Instructions
Step 1
To read an SMS message, use a phone with a SIM card. You will find out that SMS has arrived by a signal or vibration. Also, the presence of a new message will be indicated by the icon on the phone display - a closed envelope; or the inscription "New message".
Step 2
See the arrival of a new message on the display. You just need to click "Ok" or "Read". After that, SMS will open. You will see the sender's number above the text. If it is saved in contacts, the name will be indicated, if not - the phone number, which starts with +7.
Step 3
Go to the phone menu, to do this, click on the button under the "Menu" inscription. Select "Messages" or Message from all the proposed tabs. Select "Inbox" from the list. As a rule, all messages are in chronological order - from the first to the last. The new message will be on the line above and displayed as a closed envelope.
Step 4
Move the cursor over the new message bar and press "OK" or "Open". Next, the text of the message will open in front of you. To answer it, press the button under the "Options" label and select "Answer".
Step 5
If for some reason you are not able to read SMS, use voice reading of messages. This option is available in some models of cell phones. Also go to the menu, select the "Applications" tab.
Step 6
Click on the "Office" item, select "Read messages" from the list provided. Click "OK" or "Select". Scoring will start from the first SMS, ending with the last, and the sender will be named.
