Step 1
Among the large number of existing emulators, it is worth giving preference to this particular program. Its abbreviated name ePSXe, recently it has become widespread due to free use and support for special plugins that help increase productivity. You can download it from the following link

After installing and running this utility, in the window that opens, click the top Config menu, then select the Wizard Guide item. Now click on Config.

Select USA from the suggested options and click Next. If a window with an error appears, click the "OK" button, it will not affect the general work with the emulator.
Step 4
For the correct display of video recordings, you must activate the Pete's DX6 plug-in, and then click the Config button. In the window that opens, you need to set the desired screen resolution (it is advisable to set the value to 1024 x 768 if the screen diagonal is no more than 19 inches). It is also recommended to set the full-screen view mode by selecting the Fullscreen mode item. Click the Nice button to apply the settings.
Step 5
Pay attention to the screen resolution - its value is set not only depending on the diagonal of the monitor, but also depending on the performance of the computer. On older computer configurations, the gameplay will slow down significantly at high video settings.
Step 6
Select ePSXe SPU as sound plug-in and click Next. The ePSXe CDR plugin will provide you with correct work with disk images.
Step 7
To configure the control configuration in games (joystick), use the Controller 1. After making the changes, click the "OK" and Next buttons.
Step 8
To start the game, press the Config menu and select the CD-Rom item. On the page that opens, specify the letter of the drive into which you will insert the game disc, and click the "OK" buttons twice. Now you just need to click the File menu and select Run CD-Rom.
