In early August, the world-renowned electronics manufacturer Samsung offered its customers with smartphones of a certain series to redeem their mobile phones for a certain amount of money.
Humanity is steadily developing, and every day there is more and more new electronics, which are designed to replace the obsolete. Some manufacturers meet their customers halfway and offer them to buy out old equipment. This is what the well-known company Samsung did. South Korean handset makers have offered anyone who currently owns a Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, or Galaxy S III phone to do a similar deal.
The official website of the South Korean company contains detailed rules for the "Samsung Upgrade" campaign, as well as the payment of compensation to customers. So, if your smartphone has damage to the case, or the so-called "firmware" is installed on it, the amount of your compensation will be significantly reduced. The company's Internet portal has a special calculator that will help the user calculate the approximate price of a smartphone at which the manufacturer is ready to purchase it. Samsung managers began to spread their proposal through social networks. For example, with the help of Facebook, the owner of a smartphone from anywhere in the world can receive information of interest to him.
Also participating in the action is the iPhone 4S, the memory of which is about 64 gigabytes. In normal condition of this model, its owner can get about $ 300 from Samsung for it. At the same time, the iPhone manufacturing company, Apple, offers to pay about $ 900 for a new copy of this device.
To check, the smartphone must be presented to a Samsung service center. If it is successfully completed, the client of the company will be able to receive compensation in the amount agreed upon by its representatives. Unfortunately, in Russia, South Korean electronics manufacturers have decided not to carry out this action for now, so only US citizens will be able to get money for an old phone at the moment. However, Samsung representatives do not exclude the possibility of expanding the geography of this exchange program.
