The more powerful the so-called "stuffing" of the computer, the more powerful the power supply is needed. The manufacturer, as a rule, writes the power on a special sticker on the block itself. In order to find out the required capacity, there are various virtual services. For example, ASUS has a corresponding form on its website. After filling it out, the program gives the required value based on the maximum possible power consumption of the PC components.
Step 2
Go to the online service page. Select Desktop for Motheboard (if using a home desktop system) or Server if testing for a service.

Specify the processor manufacturer's parameters in the CPU section. Specify the manufacturer of the core in the field titled "Select Vendor", select the processor family in the CPU Type and designate the model itself in the field "Select CPU".
Step 4
The values in the VGA Card section are for a PC video card where Vendor is from Nvidia or ATI. The video card model is indicated in the "Select VGA" field. It can be marked in the control panel. To do this, right-click on "My Computer", then on "Properties", then on "Device Manager" and on "Video adapters".
Step 5
Specify the type of RAM you are using in the Memory Module. Designate the number of read / write devices that are connected to the computer in the Storage Devices menu. Note the presence in paragraph 1394 of an additional video card, also select the available devices in the PCI section (Modem, Audio, Network (LAN)), the number of sound cards and network devices that are connected to the PCI slot in the motherboard.
Step 6
The program will automatically give a value that is optimal (should not be lower than that indicated on the sticker). Otherwise, replace the unit with a more powerful one in a service that provides computer repair services.
