Dropping or poor sound quality during calls is the result of low signal strength. The reasons may be different, but in any case, the signal can be improved, unless the matter is in the unsatisfactory condition of the phone itself.
Instructions
Step 1
Check with your telecommunications service provider (cellular operator). It is possible that your home or office is in the so-called "dead zone" of cellular coverage. If this is true, you can contact your operator's office directly and apply to improve the quality of communication. It will be nice if your application is collective. Then the likelihood of a quick review of your appeal and a positive reaction to it will increase. Typically, in such cases, telecom operators install additional antennas in such an area.
Step 2
If the telecom operator is still unable to help you, sign an agreement with him on the installation of an individual external antenna to amplify the cellular signal (repeater). Such an agreement should be concluded because your antenna may subsequently interfere with the operation of base stations.
Step 3
Choose a location for the antenna. Try to keep as few buildings, trees and other obstructions as possible in the signal path. Consider the floor where your apartment or office is located.
Step 4
Go online and choose a company that will install such structures. Create an order for the installation of the repeater. Do not try to install the repeater yourself if you are not qualified to do so. By the way, you can save a lot if you buy an external antenna and sign a service agreement with the same company. Be sure to check that the company has equipment safety certificates.
Step 5
Do not fall for the advertisements of all kinds of home-made devices to amplify the signal (for example, battery gaskets). Firstly, the purchase of such devices will greatly facilitate your wallet, and secondly, they are absolutely useless.
