If you have an 8-channel sound card, for example, Realtek HD, then you will not see the name MICROPHONE, instead there will be the name of the input "Rear Pink In", put a tick in this box. Now click on the SETUP button that appears next to it, amplify the microphone by putting a checkmark in front of the corresponding parameter, and if you have outputs for a microphone and headphones on the front of the computer, then check the box next to the SPARE MICROPHONE. In the case of WINDOWS 7, many complain that they cannot connect a microphone. The fact is that the drivers installed by the system, during installation, are too primitive. In such cases, you need to install the native driver for the sound card you are using. If you cannot find drivers for the audio card under WINDOWS 7, try installing similar drivers from VISTA.
