It would seem that what could be easier - to insert a piece of plastic into a special cell in the phone? Experienced cellular subscribers can perform this operation with their eyes closed. But what about a beginner?
Necessary
- Telephone;
- SIM card.
Instructions
Step 1
In a regular phone, the back panel is a removable cover. You need to press on it and pull it down, away from the display. You will see the battery. Take it out too, prying it with your finger in the place of one of the grooves. Remember the position in which the battery was located - you will need it when you insert it back.
Step 2
There is a flat surface under the battery with a single small depression. Some phone models have a moving lever above this recess, while others have a fixed clamp instead of a lever. In the third, the recess extends slightly beyond the boundaries of the recess for the battery. And this groove is a SIM card slot.
Raise the lever, if equipped, and insert the card with the lever, or it will automatically lock with the clip (or recess). Insert the battery, observing the polarity (as it was located), close the cover, turn on the phone.
Step 3
With iPhones, things are a little trickier. A paper clip is included with them. Insert its end into the hole (on the lower edge of the device), the card slot will come out. Insert it in the same way - so that the cut corner matches, and the microcircuit is at the bottom.
