Necessary

Special set of screwdrivers, light-colored cloth, adhesive tape, gloves

Instructions

Step 1

Read the instruction manual of your mobile device carefully. It usually provides a diagram of the structure of the apparatus. Study it to understand how your machine works. Each phone model has its own little nuances.

Step 2

Prepare your work surface. To do this, take a light-colored cloth and place it where you plan to disassemble the phone. Light fabric is good because all small details will be perfectly visible on it. You can also use a sheet of paper. It is best to wear cotton gloves. They will allow you to avoid leaving greasy fingerprints on the internal parts of the device. Medical latex gloves may also work.

Step 3

Turn off your mobile phone. Remove the battery compartment cover. Remove the battery from the compartment. Now you need to get out the sim card and USB flash drive, as they can interfere with complete disassembly. After that, find all the bolts. They must be unscrewed. When doing this, use only a special set of screwdrivers. Many models of devices are assembled with bolts with a special head, so they cannot be unscrewed with ordinary screwdrivers. Your best bet is to buy a screwdriver set for working with home appliances. Never try to unfold the bolts with ordinary screwdrivers or a knife! So you will only spoil the bolts and the device itself. Try to remember the location of all the bolts so that they are screwed into the same places during assembly.

Step 4

When all the bolts are removed, you can begin to disassemble the case. It usually consists of two parts, which are held together by plastic clips. You need to find the location of all the latches and gently squeeze them out. Light finger pressure is usually sufficient. Make sure all latches are released before separating parts of the chassis. Otherwise, you risk breaking them. Then the body will not hold. After separating the two parts of the case, you need to carefully glue a piece of adhesive tape to the entire surface of the phone screen and the inside of the glass of the case. This will get rid of dust and fingerprints that are not easy to remove from these parts.

Step 5

You have almost taken the phone apart. Next, you need to be extremely careful, since in front of you are the insides of the phone, which are very easy to damage. Usually all connectors are easily removed from their sockets. Also, the screen and the phone itself must be connected by a loop - a thin tape with stripes, through which information is transmitted from the phone's processor to the screen. This cable must not be jammed or scratched, otherwise it simply will not work. It is highly discouraged to disassemble the slider mechanism itself, as it is very complex. It also has a lot of disposable parts that can be removed and damaged the phone.
