Quite a lot of Nokia phones come in the so-called slider form factor. The loops in them are noticeably more durable than in the devices of other models, however, sooner or later they also need to be replaced.
Instructions
Step 1
The disassembly procedure for Nokia sliders of different models may have their own peculiarities, but in general it is almost the same. First, disconnect the device from the charger and the computer, then turn it off, and then remove the battery, memory card and SIM card. After that, using a special screwdriver (do not use the usual one in any case, so as not to spoil the slots), unscrew the screws located on the back side of the upper sliding part (inside which the display is located). Hereinafter, attach all removed screws to the magnet.
Step 2
Remove the bezel from the display, pull out the cover with additional buttons, if any. Disconnect the ribbon cable from the board. Move the movable frame up to a position in which a special window will open and it will become possible to disconnect the opposite end of the cable (in the assembled state, this is prevented by the frame clinging to a special stopper). Disconnect the opposite end of the ribbon cable from the main board.
Step 3
If necessary, remove the frame (it can be removed only in this position), and then the board. In some models, this will require unscrewing several screws located in the battery compartment or under the keyboard bezel. After correcting the problem on this board, reinstall it in the reverse order, and then the frame.
Step 4
See exactly how the old train is folded. Fold the new one in the same way. Connect it to the main board. Move the sliding frame to the position where the window will close. Connect the ribbon cable to the frame board. Replace the cover with additional buttons and then the display bezel. Secure it with screws.
Step 5
Do not try to separate any parts with considerable force. If something is not removed, then you are performing the operation incorrectly. If you have any difficulties, find on the Internet the disassembly instructions intended for the phone of your particular model.
