Step 1
In order to get rid of monitor flickering, browse the Internet for the optimal settings for your monitor model. They are also sometimes recorded in the documentation that comes with the kit. Pay attention to the resolution setting and the refresh rate of the screen. Do not adjust the settings above the indicated values, as this may be the cause of the flickering.
Step 2
Right-click on an empty space on the desktop free of shortcuts and right-click on it. Select "Properties" and in the window that opens, go to the "Options" tab. Find a screen resolution regulator, adjust it so that after that it stops flickering.

Apply and save your changes. In this menu, also in the additional settings, check the flicker frequency of the monitor, set the required number of hertz, if it is not set correctly, an incorrect setting of this parameter can spoil your eyesight and the monitor.

If no software tools help here, check the connection cable to the video card. This is most often seen when using an analog signal. Make sure that the wire is not damaged, and that its plugs are securely assembled and firmly screwed to the monitor and video adapter.

If the monitor flickers periodically in certain games or applications, change the settings of this program regarding work with the video adapter, this often happens when a type of texture filtering is installed that the equipment can hardly cope with, or high detail of the surrounding world is turned on. In any case, make sure that you adequately assess the capabilities of the video card and monitor, in particular with regard to games.
