The Y8p and Y6p models were presented by Huawei, and they were aimed precisely at power. They have quite good power characteristics, as well as a large battery capacity. However, is the Y8p really better than the Y6p?
Design
Huawei Y6p is not much different from previous Huawei models, and in general it does not stand out in appearance from other Android smartphones. It has a plastic body, is wide enough and does not have any prominent design elements. Available in green, purple and black.
The Huawei Y8p already has some standout features. Firstly, the corners of the smartphone are nicely rounded. It does not cut into the hand and is generally more comfortable in the hand than the Y6p. It's thin, has chrome side panels, and looks expensive overall. This device resembles the slightly enlarged Huawei P30.
The main problem is that after a short period of time, scratches remain on the back panel - the case is made of plastic. It is not recommended to carry it in the same pocket with keys or change. The set comes with a transparent case, but the models are greatly increased in size.
Fingerprint scanners are present on each of the smartphones. On the Y6p, the module is located on the rear panel, on the Y8p it is located under the screen. The response speed of both models is high.
Camera
Model Y8p has the following features:

- Front camera - 16 MP, f / 2.0, 26 mm
The Huawei Y6p's camera is obviously much worse in terms of specifications:

- Front camera - 8 MP, f / 2.0, 25 mm
In fact, not everything is so simple. Yes, the camera from Huawei Y8p shoots a little richer. Detailing is slightly better, the palette of colors is wider, but the result does not differ dramatically.
In macro photography, everything is exactly the same. Both models cope with focusing at close range, it's only a matter of color correction.
Night photography is also good enough on both smartphones. On the Y8p, the camera renders less noise and shadows - that's the only difference. The first photo is Y6p, the second is Y8p.
On paper, the difference between the cameras is fundamental, but it cannot be said that the Y8p module is a cut above. Overall, it is slightly better, but not much better.

The Huawei Y8p is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710F processor paired with a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU Turbo 3.0 GPU. Huawei Y6p is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor in PowerVR GE8320 bundle. The Huawei Y8p has 4 GB of RAM, a slot for a memory card up to 256 GB and a 4000 mAh battery.
The Y6p has worse specifications - 3 GB of RAM, a slot for a memory card up to 512 GB and a 5000 mAh battery.
