A telephone is a device without which the life of any person is already inconceivable. A mobile phone replaces a lot for us - a calendar, a clock, a camera, etc., and its main function - the ability to always be in touch with loved ones, is generally invaluable. Since we always carry the phone with us, it is impossible to 100% protect the device from adverse factors. If a properly selected cover can help from breaking the "device", then no one is safe from water getting into it.

We practically never part with mobile phones, and this is not surprising, because the device is so functional; and the need to always be "in touch" obliges. Therefore, perhaps, everyone faced a problem when water got into a mobile phone (fell under a rainstorm, dropped into a puddle, sink, etc.). The first thing to remember in this situation: the shorter the contact of the device with water, the greater the chance to restore it.

So, if water gets into the phone, no matter what the reason, then immediately turn off the device and, to avoid a short circuit, remove the battery. Next, remove the SIM card. In no case try to turn on your mobile phone, but try to take it to the workshop as soon as possible. If there is no way to take the phone for repair, then you can use some of the tips given below. There are many popular tips to help you "reanimate" your device after dropping it into the water. First of all, immediately remove the mobile phone from the water, disconnect the battery and place the mobile phone in a container with alcohol, shake it well in it so that alcohol penetrates into all microcircuits. Dry the phone, if possible, then leave it in direct sunlight. Alcohol is harmless to microcircuits and it will absorb water in a few minutes, thereby saving your device. On the Internet, there are tips that alcohol can be replaced with vodka or another high-degree strong drink, but this is not the case.

To minimize the contact of the telephone circuits with water, the device must be dried as soon as possible. To do this, you can put your mobile phone in a jar of rice (of course, after removing the battery) and leave it for about a day. This will be enough for the water to be completely absorbed into the cereal. It will take a little less time to dry the device if the rice is replaced with salt. Only in this case, the mobile phone must first be wrapped either in gauze or in a napkin. If you can independently disassemble the phone immediately after dropping it into the water, while you have items such as a hairdryer, napkins and alcohol at hand, then the likelihood that the device will not work is minimized. So, if you managed to completely disassemble the phone, then gently wipe all the parts with a napkin dipped in alcohol, then wipe them with a dry napkin and hold them under a stream of warm air from a hair dryer for several minutes. It is very important to remember that if the hair dryer has only the "hot air" function, then it must be kept at least 40 cm away from the phone so that the phone does not get hot in any way.

It is not superfluous to say: if your phone has fallen into sea water, then before drying it must be rinsed with distilled water, and then carry out one or several of the above manipulations at once.
