There is a golden rule for connecting speakers - the power of the speakers should in any case exceed the power of the amplifier. The more the better for the speakers. Speakers can be divided into four groups: broadband, woofer, midrange, and tweeter. From their name it is immediately clear what frequency range they give out. In addition, when connecting several speakers, it must be remembered that as the number increases, their sensitivity increases.

Instructions

Step 1

Connect the positive channel output connector of the amplifier to the positive terminal of speaker A.

Step 2

Connect the negative output terminal of speaker A to the positive terminal of speaker B. Remember that when two or more speakers are daisy-chained to the same amplifier channel, this will affect the power output of the entire structure anyway.

Step 3

Connect the negative terminal of speaker B to the positive terminal of speaker C.

Step 4

Build all subsequent connections in the same way. In this case, four speakers (A, B, C, D) are connected. In this scheme, work with only low-frequency speakers. After an electrical impulse is applied to the speaker, the diffuser continues to oscillate for some time. This is the reason for the indistinct sound reproduction. Reduce the decay time of these oscillations by insulating the audio system case with sound-absorbing materials or by shunting the coil leads with a low output impedance of the amplifier.

Step 5

The main thing is not to overdo it with the minimum load of the amplifier, although most of them can handle 2 ohms, but this does not mean that they can handle a 1 ohm load. In addition, at low loads, the amplifier's ability to properly control the movement of the speaker cone is significantly reduced, which in most cases results in a "washed out" bass effect and affects the overall sound.

Step 6

Connect the negative channel terminal of the last speaker to the negative output terminal of the amplifier device. With this type of connection, when the speakers are located in a series chain, as a rule, the load resistance increases, and the more links there are, the greater the resistance will be. By and large, you can connect as many speakers as you like, the main thing is that the indicator of their total resistance is no higher than 16 ohms.
