A recording file made by a phone program can be recorded into a voice recorder, provided that the formats are fully matched. Also, you can use various converters to convert. For the formats supported by the recorder, please refer to the user manual.
Necessary
- - telephone;
- - Dictaphone;
- - converter;
- - Software for a mobile device.
Instructions
Step 1
Write a sound file in the program of your phone. Give it a specific name and save it in the memory of your mobile device or flash card. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable or Bluetooth wireless connection. Pair the devices to exchange files, and then proceed depending on which phone memory module contains the entry you need.
Step 2
If the dictaphone recording is stored on your phone's memory card, connect the devices in Mass Storage mode and open the contents of the folder in the autorun tools or through the My Computer menu. Find the entry and copy it to your computer hard drive.
Step 3
If the recording file is in the phone memory, launch the software and select PC Suite mode in the connection methods. Open the file browser in the software utility of your mobile device, and then go to the directory where the recording file is stored on your phone. Right-click on the desired item and copy it to your computer's hard drive.
Step 4
If the file extension of the recording made by your mobile device is not supported by the voice recorder, download and install a converter program on your computer that works with this type of audio recordings. After that, convert to a format supported by the voice recorder, connect the device to a computer and copy the resulting recording into the voice recorder memory.
Step 5
If you cannot find a conversion program, check the software of your mobile device and voice recorder for a utility that performs this action on its own. Also look for a converter on the official website of the recorder manufacturer and, if possible, save the recordings in mp3.
