With prolonged use of the phone, you may notice that over time, the battery charge is enough for an increasingly shorter period. The fact is that the materials used in batteries are designed for a certain period of operation and gradually lose their characteristics. In this case, you need to take some measures to revive the phone's battery.

Step 1
Take your phone battery and connect it in parallel with your load and voltmeter. This method of revitalizing the battery is carried out by increasing the voltage. Any rheostat can be used as a load. Discharge your phone battery in this way to 1 V.
Step 2
It is necessary to constantly monitor the voltage, since a voltage drop below 0.9 V can adversely affect the further performance of the battery. Also measure the temperature of the device periodically. If it rises above 50 degrees, then disconnect the load from the battery and let it cool down. Then continue discharging.
Step 3
Wait 10-15 minutes after discharging, until processes normalize in the cell. After that, connect the ammeter in series and in parallel with the power supply and voltmeter to the battery. Power is connected with one contact to the plus of the phone battery, and the second to the free contact of the ammeter. Install a thermal relay or thermal sensor on the phone battery. For a more accurate reading, use thermal grease for fixing.
Step 4
Set the voltage regulator on the power supply to the minimum position. Increase the tension gradually. At the same time, monitor changes in amperage. Its value should reach the value of a tenth of the battery capacity, which can be found from the instructions for the phone or on the device itself.
Step 5
Continue to increase the voltage while observing the decrease in the amperage. Initially, change the position of the knob every five minutes, and eventually every hour. Reach a voltage reading of 1.5V and then leave the phone battery charging.
Step 6
After about 4-6 hours, the current will finally become zero, after which it is necessary to disconnect the battery from the power source and leave it for 20-25 minutes to normalize the processes. Charge the battery fully. Repeat the operation after a few days. You will soon notice that the phone battery has recovered and keeps the charge like new.
