The presence of two SIM-cards opens access to two networks in one mobile phone, which allows you to use different services of each of the two networks. Without a special device, you can only use one network. At the same time, the advantages of having two SIM cards in one phone outweigh the disadvantages.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a dual SIM card holder. Several types of such devices are available on the market. The only thing left to do is to choose one for which you do not need to cut SIM-cards. Cutting the SIM-card yourself is dangerous, as in the process you can destroy the SIM-card altogether.
Step 2
Insert one of your SIM cards into one of the dual holder slots in the same way as in a regular card holder. You may need to remove the stickers or wrappers that some dual-holder manufacturers use to hold SIM cards. Alternatively, the holder may have a small metal flap that needs to be inserted after the SIM card to hold it in place. Then, in the same way, insert the second SIM card into the other slot.
Step 3
Place the dual SIM card holder into your phone by inserting one side of it into the normal SIM slot. Depending on the model of the holder, you should install it either vertically (this means that you place the battery at the top of both SIM cards) or horizontally. In the latter case, you need to do the following: insert one side of the holder into the corresponding SIM card slot, place the battery over it, and then simply insert another SIM card. Two SIM cards will be inserted on one side of the battery.
Step 4
Turn the phone face up. Turn on the device and find in its menu a folder or an option with a name close to "Dual SIM". It is most likely located in the "Tools" section of your phone. As soon as you find this option, you will have a choice of its possibilities - two phone numbers of the network of one mobile operator or two networks of different operators. Select the one you want to use at the moment. The phone will briefly lose signal when changing networks, but this is completely normal.
