Imagine you have a video file that you would like to show your friends. But you will only have a cell phone with you, which, of course, cannot play standard avi files. In order for friends to see your video, this file must first be processed with a special program. For example PocketDivXEncoder.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the program to the local drive of your personal computer using the download link on the official website of the program at https://www.pocketdivxencoder.net/EN_index.htm. Install this software. Do not forget to check all downloaded files with special antivirus programs, as on the Internet viruses can be activated on the computer when downloading. Run the application using the startup file. The program window resembles a regular editor: on the left side of the window there are tools for setting the parameters of a video file, on the right side - the video file itself.
Step 2
Load the video file into the program in the File to encode field. To do this, click the Open button and specify the location of the video file on your computer's hard drive. Specify the location of the finished file in the Output file field in the same way, or do not change it if you want to edit the original video. If the video is on the phone, then you need to connect the device to a personal computer using a special cable. If there is a flash drive in the phone, then it can be inserted through the card reader.
Step 3
Set the video image parameters: video and audio signal quality, brightness, contrast and video picture size. To find out what video file options your phone supports, read the instructions. Click on the Preview button to see the finished version of the image. To start the change process, click on the Encode now button.
Step 4
Load the video file into the phone memory and try to launch it to check the result. If the cell phone could not play the video file, process the video file again with PocketDivXEncoder by changing the parameters. Try not to change the parameters of the original. Always make copies of your files.
