Some phone models provide ringtones as attachments to SMS messages. In this case, we are talking about specially created audio files for sending, integrated into the menu for editing the content of the message.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that for both models of mobile devices (yours and the recipient's), the playback of the same signals that are embedded in the SMS message is available. Most often, this is typical for phones from the same manufacturer.
Step 2
Choose to create an SMS message on your mobile device. Enter your text and then select Add Content from the context menu. Next, go to the selection of music files available for sending in an SMS message. Enter the recipient's number and send.
Step 3
In case you want to send a music file, the format of which is not supported by SMS messages, send it using one of two alternative methods. The first is adding a file to a specific Internet resource and further sending a link to download it in an SMS message. The second is creating a multimedia message.
Step 4
First, make sure that the function of sending MMS messages is configured in your phone. It is best to contact the operator, provide him with your number, after which the settings will be sent to you in the form of a service message. Select the save profile from the context menu and name it as you see fit.
Step 5
Select the item to create an MMS message, and then go to editing the content. On the music files tab, add the melody you want to send. Also note that some phone models send downloaded items as well. If necessary, also add a picture or photo. Write an accompanying text and then submit.
Step 6
Please also note that in order to receive an MMS message, this profile must be available to the recipient, therefore, first make sure that his phone supports this function. If the profile has not been configured, he will receive a notification with a link to your message.
