A set of maps is already available in the navigator from the manufacturer, but often you have to add new maps to the memory. You can update the map in the navigator from a professional or from an experienced car enthusiast who has been using the navigator for a long time. But you can fill the map into the navigator yourself - using a computer, memory card and the Internet.

Step 1
"Manual flashing" of the navigator has become commonplace in light of the availability of the Internet, where you can find everything you need to work with the navigator.
First, we connect our navigator to the computer and duplicate all data from the navigator's memory to a safe place in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Step 2
For further work, we need to know what version the map that is currently installed in the navigator had. You need to find it along the following path: go to the menu of our navigator, select the "Tools" item, then "Settings" - there is a map. When you open the button "About the card", you will see the long-awaited information about the previous version of the card (FID code). On the Internet, you need to find a more recent version of this particular map.
Step 3
Now we return to the navigator again and enter the "Instrument Settings". In the item "System" we find the information "About the device". This is a ten-digit identification code for our navigator. This numeric code must also be saved.
Step 4
Download the code generator program (keygen) from the Internet. You need to run the keygen_v1.5 file and enter your ten-digit code, which you learned above, into the "Enter your Unit Id" section. Select the name of the navigator company, the type of card and enter the four-digit FID of your memory card.
Step 5
Under the inscription "Your Map unlock code" click on the "Generate" button, and the keygen will give you a new unique code. Save it as a new file with the extension sum. This new generated code file should be named the same as your map, but differ only in the extension.
Step 6
And the last thing: delete the old map files in the img and code format on the navigator, and copy the new ones in their place.
