The PlayStation 3 is a popular video game console that is used for most of today's video games. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to buy expensive specialized editions, so you need to know how to install the game on your PS3.
Instructions
Step 1
To be able to install games on the PlayStation 3, you must first use the special software. Format the flash drive using the FAT32 format in the settings. Download the Open Manager and BlackBox FTP programs, unzip them, and copy the resulting files to the prepared USB flash drive.
Step 2
Unplug your PS3 from the wall outlet (also turn off the toggle switch if there is one) and then put the PS3 into JailBrake mode. Insert the USB stick into a USB port and then press the start button. Click on "Eject" (the button for ejecting the disc). Go to the "Install Package" menu and find there files for installing previously downloaded applications. Install them in turn using the "X" button. Then go to the "Game" menu and see if the corresponding shortcuts appear for this software. Take out the USB stick.
Step 3
Install Total Commander (if you don't already have it). Connect your console to your home computer with a patch cord. To install games on your PS3, go to the Settings menu and then select Your Network Settings. Next, find the "Connection settings" item, select the "Special" item in the "Setting method" column. Then in the column "Connection method" click "Wired", and in the column "Device mode" - "Detect automatically". Open the IP settings and put a check mark next to "Manual".
Step 4
Configure connections using 192.168.1.2. Then find the "Subnet mask" column and set the value to 255.255.255.0. In the columns "Primary DNS" and "Default router" set 192.168.1.1, and do not change additional DNS. Do not use a proxy server, set the MTU field to "Automatic", for UPnP use the "Enable" mode. Save the settings using the "X" key.
Step 5
In the Game section, find the BlackBox FTP program. Then open Total Commander on your computer, click "Network" and then click on "Connect to FTP Server". To install the game on PS3, click "Add", in the "Connection name" write "PlayStation 3", set the IP 192.168.1.2:21 for the server, and do not change the password and account fields. Connect to the selected connection.
Step 6
You will see a menu in which you need to select the dev_hdd0 directory. Go to the Game menu and then OMAN46756. In this directory, create a GAMEZ folder, and then copy the game you want to install there. After the copying process is complete, exit the BlackBox FTP program and launch Open Manager. The question will pop up before you: "Use OMAN46756". Press the "Yes" key. Select the required game and press "X". After that, the installation will start, and after a while you can enjoy the game.
