Instructions
Step 1
Before connecting proprietary telephones, connect all telephones to the internal exchange. Also connect these PBXs to city line sockets. Connect regular phones to analog ports, and system phones to digital ports. Also, if a certain number was previously assigned to the phones, do not confuse their connection.
Step 2
Install your telephone exchange control software on your computer, and then connect this device to your computer's port. If your station does not have a connector for connecting via a USB interface, perform control functions using a proprietary telephone.
Step 3
Connect it to the port named EXT1. Enter the program mode using the dedicated button with the corresponding name. Then enter the characters * and #. Enter password. If it has not changed, look in the documentation which was installed initially (usually 1234 is used).
Step 4
Set up a numbering plan for your internal telephones by assigning numbers to them. Set up tone and pulse dialing for CO lines. Next, go to the distribution of incoming calls according to the numbering plan you have set and set the time according to which the call will arrive at the device.
Step 5
Complete the setup by following all the necessary steps. If each internal telephone of your PBX works properly, you have correctly connected and configured your system telephone. If you have any problems in using a proprietary telephone, always seek the help of specialists and do not try to manually fix the breakdown, especially if the control is carried out in the proprietary telephone mode.
Step 6
If it is possible to connect it to a computer, make sure you have the skills in programming and repairing the PBX, otherwise you can damage the system phone beyond recovery.
