A high-quality audio system is said to convey bass well. For this, it is not at all necessary that it has a high output power. The quality of low frequency transmission depends on completely different factors.

Step 1
Search your audio device for a tone control or equalizer. Poor bass transmission may be due solely to improper tuning. After increasing the level of low frequencies, do not forget to at least partially suppress the high frequencies. The sound quality will become noticeably more pleasant without any hardware alterations. But remember that not everyone likes too much high frequency roll-off.
Step 2
In the absence of not only an equalizer, but even a conventional tone control, add it yourself. Connect a resistor of about 1 kΩ between the output of the signal source and the input of the amplifier. Then take a capacitor with a capacity of about 0.1 μF and connect it between the input of the amplifier and the common wire through a variable resistor with a resistance of about 20 kOhm. Using this simple device, you can adjust the tone of the sound.
Step 3
Try looking for a dynamic bass boost switch on your audio device. Turn it on. But try not to use this mode in conjunction with headphones, since the specific techniques used for dynamic bass amplification, according to some reports, are not harmless to the hearing.
Step 4
Try replacing your speakers with better ones. You will find that bass performance will improve dramatically even when using the same amplifier. But avoid using subwoofers with separate powerful amplifiers. Subwoofers are capable of developing such significant sound pressures at low frequencies that we have to talk about the danger not so much for the hearing as for the internal organs of a person.
Step 5
Think about the so-called open type loudspeakers forgotten today. Such a speaker, by its design, is capable of high-quality reproduction of low frequencies only if it has significant dimensions. However, it sounds more pleasant, and, importantly, an amplifier with a power of even several watts is capable of "swinging" it well, since it has an increased efficiency. Oddly enough, sometimes single-way speakers sound the best, where a modest-sized dynamic head is located in the center of a huge box. There is no health hazard inherent to a subwoofer with open speakers, although bass sounds good to the ear. Unlike a conventional one, such a speaker system can be made independently, moreover, knowledge and skills will be required, rather, not from the field of electronics, but from the field of carpentry.
Step 6
And the last thing. If you are using the speaker without a housing, place it in one. You will be pleasantly surprised to find that the same head has a completely new sound.
