The interactive whiteboard connects to a computer and a projector. It can be used in conjunction with a special marker or finger. It's worth learning more about managing well-known whiteboards like SMART Board, eBeam, and ActivBoard.
It is necessary
- - Interactive board;
- - a computer;
- - multimedia projector;
- - USB cable.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect a multimedia projector to the front or back of the board, depending on the type of projector. Connect it to the monitor using the cable supplied with the board. Connect the whiteboard to a USB port on your computer.
Step 2
Turn on your whiteboard, computer and projector. Load the CD that came with the board. Install the software required for the normal operation of the device.
Step 3
Examine your interactive whiteboard screen. It should wake up from sleep mode and be activated by clicking on it. Also, moving your finger will move the cursor across the screen. Apply the Pen Tool function, select it on the screen and use your finger or a marker from the tray to write or draw something on the screen. Test the remote control by trying to move around the system and adjusting the screen contrast.
Step 4
Practice using the various tools from the Pen Tray. Objects and text can be exported to any application. You can copy and paste in the same way. This is especially convenient when working in a text editor. Handwritten elements can be changed to text. To do this, click on the handwriting item and click the button in the upper right corner of the window to select it. Try saving your document by choosing Save or Save As from the File menu. Give the file a name and press OK.
Step 5
Close all windows. Click the Start button, go to Programs and try to launch one of the applications. Applications can be interacted with using a pen, highlighter, or finger tool by selecting the desired input method from the Tools panel. While working with applications, take a picture of what is happening on the screen. Press the camera key to capture the image. The resulting photos can be printed directly from the screen by pressing a button on the printer.
