Instructions

Step 1

Use Phoenix to restore your Nokia mobile phone to working condition. Download this utility and install it. Now prepare your mobile phone for recovery. Remove the SIM card and USB flash drive from it, if you have one.

Step 2

Connect your phone to your computer using a USB or COM cable. Open the "Device Manager" menu and make sure that your mobile phone is detected by the system. Press the phone's power button 4-5 times. Hold it for 2-3 seconds each time. After a while, two new equipments should appear in the device list. Make sure their names are not marked with an exclamation mark.

Step 3

Charge your mobile phone battery to 60 percent or more. This is necessary to prevent it from completely discharging during the firmware process. Start the Phoenix program and select the No Connection operating mode. Click the File tab and select Open Product.

Step 4

Select your mobile phone model and click OK. Open the Flashing tab and go to the Firmware Update menu. Click the Search button next to Product Code. Select any available product code that contains Cyrillic or RU in the description. This is necessary to be able to use the Russian language in the phone menu. Click OK after selecting the correct product code.

Step 5

After returning to the Firmware Update menu, check the box next to Dead Phone USB flashing. Immediately after that, click the Refurbish button located at the bottom of the working window. During the phone recovery process, the Output menu will be populated. When the message Press the phone’s power button appears in it, press and hold the phone's power button for 2-3 seconds.

Step 6

Wait for the firmware restore to complete. It will be completed after a window appears with the words Product flashing succeeded. Disconnect your phone from your computer and check if it works.
