In many houses and apartments, it becomes necessary to install a parallel telephone. A parallel telephone is very convenient, since it allows you to install your own device in each room or room. But for this you need to separate and connect telephone sockets in all places in advance. Let's consider how to connect an outlet, using the example of installing one outlet in a two-wire circuit.

Step 1
An ordinary telephone socket is decomposed into two parts:
• body with five slots;
• plugs with five pins.
The telephone line wire is connected to the socket housing, and the cord that goes directly to the telephone is connected to the plug. Disassemble the telephone jack housing and strip the ends of the paired telephone line wire.
Step 2
In the housing you will see 4 jacks to which a telephone line can be connected. Typically, when looking at the socket with the fifth plastic contact at the bottom, the telephone line is connected to the two jacks located on the right side of the case. Fasten the wire with the special fixing screws.
Step 3
Attach the bottom of the enclosure to the floor or wall. Also fix the upper part with the screw in the designated place. The body is assembled.
Step 4
Now you need to properly assemble the plug. Take it apart. Inside you will see a diagram that repeats the device of the socket body with the difference that the wired contacts go to the pins. Connect these pins and sockets in the right way - this is the answer to the question of how to connect the telephone socket correctly.
Step 5
When connecting to the pins, make the connection in such a way that the socket assembly provides contact between the communication line wire and the telephone cord, and the signal goes to the device.
