Step 1
To create such a disc, it is not necessary to buy expensive “blanks”. Recording a regular image from recording for this set-top box is no different. Both DVD-R and DVD + R will work. The only set-top box in this series that does not accept DVD + R discs is the 2001 release.
Step 2
Use one-time write discs to create a disc. RW disks will not work, they will contain a lot of errors.
Step 3
In order to write to a disk, you can use any program whose function is to write an image to a disk. These programs include: Alcohol 120%, UltraISO. Below we will consider the programs in which you can do this. The download and installation process will not be affected. Only the moments of the actual recording on the disk will be scheduled.
Step 4
To burn a Play Station 2 disc in Alcohol 120%, in the main window, click the Image Burning Wizard button located in the left pane.

In the window that opens, specify the path to your file (disk image) by clicking the Browse button.
Step 6
In the next window, specify the write speed (Write Speed), it is desirable to set a lower value. Low write speed - high quality. You also need to specify the type of disc you are recording (Datatype) - Play Station 2. Click on Start to perform the recording operation.
Step 7
To burn a Play Station 2 disc in UltraISO, click the button with the disc icon on the toolbar.
Step 8
As in the previous example, specify the disk speed and data type of the disk. Click the Burn button.
