Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that: - you have no debt on your account for mobile services payments; - you have not been in roaming for two previous months. The mobile operator declares these conditions as binding in order for the contract to be terminated.
Step 2
If there is a debt, put the money in the account in the amount that covers the amount of the debt. The second option: the debt can be repaid at the MegaFon office immediately before the termination of the contract. Decide what is more convenient for you.
Step 3
Transfer all important information stored on the SIM card to another storage medium. After termination of the agreement, the SIM card will be blocked and, accordingly, you will not have access to the records stored on it.
Step 4
Specify the location of the nearest MegaFon office. To do this, go to the operator's official website www.megafon.ru, go to the "Help and Service" section, select your region, on the page that opens, in the left column, select the link "Our offices".
Step 5
Come to the MegaFon office. Your personal presence is required to terminate the contract. The exceptions are those cases when you are not able to appear for a good reason. In such situations, they resort to issuing a power of attorney for a representative. You must have with you: - a passport; - details of a bank current account, if you plan to transfer the balance of funds on the balance to it; - a power of attorney and a representative's passport (if your representative is engaged in termination of the contract).
Step 6
Tell the MegaFon employee who is drawing up the termination of the agreement how you intend to dispose of the balance of funds on the account. You have the following options: - receive money in cash at the cash desk; - transfer money to the account of a new subscriber; - transfer money to another personal account; - transfer money to a current account. In this case, you will need to write a statement in the form proposed by an employee of the MegaFon company.
