Step 1
If you are an MTS subscriber, you can activate roaming in Moscow without personally applying for a contract and a passport to the salon or office of the telecom operator. Dial * 111 * 2192 # on your phone and send a call in order to activate the International and National Roaming service. If you want to use the International Access service, dial * 111 * 2193 # and press the call button. Or go to the MTS website (www.mts.ru), contact the Internet Assistant and activate roaming.
Step 2
Please note: activating this service in these ways will be available to you only if you have been an MTS subscriber for at least 12 months and top up your account every month or had at least 650 rubles on your balance for six months, including VAT. All other subscribers can activate roaming only by contacting the MTS office or salon or by activating the Easy Roaming and International Access service in the Internet Assistant or by dialing * 111 * 2157 # on the phone and sending a call. However, before activating it, check the operator's website for a list of countries to which it applies.
Step 3
If your phone is connected to Megafon, then in order to activate this service, you will have to contact any of the customer service centers with a passport and an agreement. The cost of a minute of conversation in the National intranet roaming (regardless of whether it is an incoming or outgoing call) is 9 rubles. Outgoing calls in roaming to the CIS countries - 35 rubles / minute, to the EEC countries, the USA and Canada - 65 rubles / minute, to other countries - 105 rubles / minute. So calculate your expenses for telephone calls in advance, despite the fact that Megafon usually practices a postpaid settlement system and does not require guarantee payments.
Step 4
If you are a Beeline subscriber, then you will have to make a guarantee payment of 1,500 rubles for the postpaid roaming billing system, and for the prepaid system you will have to have at least 600 rubles on your account at the time of roaming activation. The service is automatically activated and deactivated when the balance is 300 rubles or less.
