3D images were used even before the first 3D films were released. Today 3D images are at the peak of their popularity. All three-dimensional pictures are divided into several types, it depends on the method of image transmission. The use of circularly polarized glasses gives you the opportunity to enjoy watching your favorite movies in 3D. You can make such glasses with your own hands.
Necessary
- - glasses that you no longer use;
- - front covers from music discs;
- - thin and transparent plastic;
- - scissors;
- - sandpaper;
- - blue and red alcohol-based markers;
- - handle (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Place the music disc lid in hot water. This is to soften the material and to prevent breakage when cutting. After a while, remove the cover. With scissors in hand, cut out the plastic in a shape that looks like two ovals, connected to each other with a jumper. Sandpaper will help you get rid of any burrs that have appeared during the cutting process.
Step 2
The next step is to colorize your DIY 3D glasses evenly. Use a blue marker to paint over the right oval, red - the left. You can use an alcohol stick to make the paint even more evenly laid down. It needs to be pulled out of the marker and squeezed onto the plastic surface.
Step 3
In order for the dye to completely evaporate and the surfaces of the glasses to dry, you will need to be patient and wait a while. If desired, make the finished structure more convenient to use by attaching a handle to it. As a result, your homemade 3D glasses will resemble a monocle.
Step 4
Of course, hand-made glasses will differ from the factory ones. However, the resulting design will give you the opportunity to enjoy a three-dimensional effect while watching a movie. Your homemade 3D glasses are ready, enjoy your viewing!
