The "Beep" service, provided by the MTS operator, allows you to replace beeps with melodies. It connects automatically after purchasing a SIM card, and sometimes after changing the tariff. It is free for the first two weeks, and then it becomes paid. To avoid the cost of this service, you need to disable it.
Instructions
Step 1
You can deactivate the "Beep" service through the voice portal only in the home region, otherwise the call will be charged. Call 0550. Select the voice menu item corresponding to the deactivation of the service. The location of this item in the menu can change, as the portal developers often change its structure. But it is always there. Listen carefully and you will find it.
Step 2
You can deactivate this service with a USSD request everywhere, even in roaming. To do this, use the command * 111 * 29 #.

You can also turn off the service through your MTS personal account. This will require unlimited Internet, and if it is mobile, then being in the home region. While roaming, you can use a public Wi-Fi hotspot or internet cafe. Go to the MTS website in the user's personal account.
Step 4
Click on the link "Get password by SMS". Enter your number and captcha. Click the Get Password button. It will come via SMS. Keep it a secret! Enter the received password and click the "Login" button. After entering your personal account, go to the "Internet Assistant" tab, and then select the "Service Management" link. Find GOOD'OK in the list of services and click on the "Disable" link. Confirm disconnection. Be sure to then exit the portal, especially if the computer is someone else's.
Step 5
You can also, being in your home region, call 0890 or 8 800 250 0890, wait for the operator's answer and ask to turn off the "Beep" service. But this is not the best option, since connecting and disconnecting services through the support service costs 45 rubles. The consultant can instead send you an SMS with a USSD command to turn off the "Beep" on his own, but there is no point in this action, since this command is already given in the second step.
Step 6
In all cases, after a request to deactivate the service, wait for an SMS notification. There can be two of them: the first is that the request is queued, and the second is that it has been completed, or there can be one that immediately informs about the completion of the request. After that, call your number from another phone, but do not answer the call. If beeps are heard in the other phone, but not a melody, the service has been successfully disabled. The next day, make sure that the funds for the "Beep" will no longer be charged from your account.
