If you like to listen to music through your mp3 player or phone, you probably try to download only your favorite music to these devices. But it does not always have the same volume, sometimes the volume of music files can be different, which leads to discomfort when listening. To save yourself from this, use editing music files that differ in their volume.
Necessary
Adobe Audition software, Sound Forge
Instructions
Step 1
In this case, you need to open the audio file you are interested in in the editor and change the volume value of this track. Use the Adobe Audition audio track editor. After starting the program, click the File - Open menu and select the desired track. Opening the file is also available by simply dragging and dropping the file into the window into the programs. After your file is loaded, you need to select the area that will be processed. It can be either part of the file or the whole file.
Step 2
To select the entire file, press Ctrl + A. If you need to select only the left channel, press Ctrl + L, if only the right one, then press Ctrl + R (according to the direction names - Left and Right). After highlighting the required section of the file, a volume control will appear above your cursor, which is outwardly similar to the volume control of most radio tape recorders or music centers.
Step 3
Hold the left mouse button and slide it to one side: to the left to decrease the volume, and to the right to increase the volume. The amplitude of your file will automatically change. After saving the changes, you can listen to this file in the player to compare their volume.
