The function of disabling emulation is one of the settings options for the most popular virtual CD / DVD-ROM applications, which include Daemon Tools, Daemon Tools Lite and Alcohol 120/52%. In this case, the free application Daemon Tools Lite is considered.

Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the free Daemon Tools Lite software for creating disc images freely available on the Internet.
Step 2
Find the program icon located in the lower right part of the computer monitor screen, next to the clock, and open the context menu of the item by clicking the right mouse button.
Step 3
Select the "Emulation" item and select the "All options OFF" command to perform the procedure for disabling the function.
Step 4
Check out other items of the program menu:
- Virtual CD / DVD-ROM - designed to create disk images and edit the settings of a virtual drive;
- Options - allows you to edit the program settings of the application;
- Web resources - provides links to similar Internet sites;
- Feedback - provides access to feedback forms;
- Help - intended for reference information and online help in difficult situations;
- Exit - termination of the program.
Step 5
Select Virtual CD / DVD-ROM and select Drive 0 to initiate the disk imaging operation.
Step 6
Use the "Mount Image" command and specify the desired file in the dialog box that opens.
Step 7
Change the name (letter) of the disk or use the option to create the required number of virtual drives.
Step 8
Specify the "Options" item to define the following parameters:
- displaying the application panel above the taskbar;
- transfer of the Daemon Tools Lite application to the safe mode of operation;
- automatic mounting of disks after reboot (requires enabling the "Autostart" option);
- displaying a warning about the impossibility to unmount the disk used by the application;
- autostart of the program;
- performing updates in automatic mode;
- displaying additional options of the application panel (requires the panel to be enabled);
- assignment of "hot" keys;
- selection of the application interface language.
