Step 1
First of all, try to clear the memory of your mobile phone by applying the factory settings of this device. Turn on the device and open the main menu. Go to the "Settings" submenu.

Highlight Restore Default Settings or Reset Phone Settings. Click the "Yes" button. Wait for a menu to appear with a warning that executing this command will clear the phone memory and reset all user settings. Confirm the start of the device cleaning procedure.

Enter the security code after the corresponding field appears. If you have not changed its value, fill in the line with 12345. Study the user manual to find out the meaning of this code.

Wait for the mobile phone to automatically reboot. Check the stability of the device and re-configure it.

Use the service code for resetting the phone parameters if for some reason you cannot access its options. This method allows you to reset the device without entering a security code. Dial * # 7370 # and press the "Call" button.

Remember that running this command will completely clear the phone's memory. If you store contacts not on a SIM card, create a backup copy of your phone book in advance.

Before executing this command, remove the USB flash drive and sim card. This will protect the specified devices from accidental cleaning.

In the event that you need to clear the memory of a mobile phone that does not turn on, use the Nokia Phoenix application. It is intended to replace the firmware of a mobile device.

After launching Nokia Phoenix, select the Dead Mode. Download the firmware file from the official website. Use the firmware version that is currently installed in the device.

Press the Flash button, select the downloaded file and wait for Nokia Phoenix to shut down.
