The operating system "Android" (OS Android) is used on devices with a touch screen. Smartphones, tablet computers, e-book readers and many other mobile devices work under its control.

Step 1
If you have purchased a new device with the Android operating system, you may need to reset the time. Sometimes this operation has to be carried out when changing the time zone while traveling or when changing the clock to summer (winter) time. This is not difficult to do.

Find the "Settings" icon. It can be located on the desktop or in the application bar. Going into the settings, you will see a menu. Scroll it. At the bottom of the menu, you will find the Date and Time tab.

The Date and Time tab contains many options. First of all, pay attention to the "24-hour format" function. If this function is not set, then your devices will work in 12-hour format. For example, 13:00 o'clock is displayed as 1:00 o'clock. You can choose the format that suits you, but be sure to take it into account when setting the time.

The "Automatic" option is also located here. By connecting it, you synchronize the clock of your device with the clock of the server of your Internet provider. For devices that are not used as a telephone and are not connected to the Internet, this function is not needed. If this function is enabled, manual time setting becomes unavailable, so it is better to disable it first.
Step 5
The "Select time zone" option is easy to connect if your city can be found in the list provided by the developers. In all other cases, you need to bind your location to a city from the provided list, located in your time zone.

And finally, by choosing the option "Set time", you will be able to set the desired time value on the clock of your device. In the window that opens, using the pluses and minuses in the columns of hours and minutes, you put the desired values and click "Set".

Depending on the version of the Android system installed on your device and translation options, the names in the menu may be slightly different. For example, instead of the heading "Automatic" there might be a heading "Network time", and instead of "Set time" - just "time". These points should not give you any trouble, since the meaning of what is written does not change.

The change of summer and winter time in the Android system is associated with the choice of the time zone. When seasonal time changes, sometimes failures occur that must be manually corrected. If a special time display program is installed on the device, in addition to the system clock, in such cases it also has to be reconfigured or sometimes even reinstalled.
