TV speakers tend to provide very low quality sound reproduction, which can be especially offensive when watching satellite channels. But the standard possibilities for connecting external acoustics in TVs are rarely implemented. However, if you wish, you can always get by with non-standard capabilities.
Instructions
Step 1
Most TVs, even the oldest ones, usually have a headphone jack, which blocks the audio output from the TV's own speakers. This output can be equipped with any connector, but in more or less modern models usually minijack is used. Select the required adapter and connect the headphone output of your TV to the input of your amplifier or receiver.
Step 2
If no headphone output is observed on the TV, you can try taking the signal directly from the TV speakers. Open its case and find the wires going to the speakers. Specify their polarity, then, having previously disconnected them from the TV speakers, solder extension cords with them, ending with the connector of your amplifier. The operation is not too difficult or time-consuming, but it requires some attention.
Step 3
If, nevertheless, the TV has the ability to output sound to external devices (check in the instruction manual), then everything becomes much easier - just connect the TV to the amplifier using audio cables and enjoy.
