Step 1
Correct manipulation of the laptop battery must be carried out when buying a mobile computer. After choosing the laptop model you like, connect the device to AC power. Wait for the battery to be fully charged.
Step 2
The charge indicator should show at least 99 percent. If the battery has stalled at 98% or less, then the battery is defective. Stop buying this laptop.
Step 3
After purchasing the product, pre-condition the battery several times. Turn off your laptop and reconnect the power cable. Wait for the battery to be fully charged. This usually takes about two hours. If your notebook has a battery charge indicator, use it to determine how “ready” the battery is.
Step 4
Now unplug your laptop and turn on your mobile computer. Wait until the battery is completely discharged. At the same time, it is recommended to use the laptop not too intensively.
Step 5
Repeat the procedure for recharging and discharging the battery 2-3 more times. Your battery is now ready for continuous use. Please note that if you constantly use your mobile computer in close proximity to outlets, it is recommended to remove the battery. This will extend the life of the part.
Step 6
Wait until the battery reaches 40-60 percent before removing the battery from the laptop. Do not store a fully discharged or charged battery for a long time.
Step 7
Avoid wet locations when storing and transporting the battery. Do not leave the battery “idle” for more than two months. Use the laptop battery periodically. Ideally, purchase an extra battery in advance to avoid the hassle of finding a suitable model in the future.
