Step 1
The Nokia 6300 cell phone operates in GSM networks, therefore, to make calls using this phone, purchase a suitable SIM card in the communication salon. Pressing a little on the back cover with your thumb, slide it away from the plastic back cover.
Step 2
Remove the battery by prying a fingernail into the notch on the side of the battery. Install the SIM card into a special holder in the way shown in the diagram next to the holder. The metal contacts of the plastic card must be in contact with the contacts of the holder.
Step 3
The device will work offline without a SIM card. This means that only applications that do not require operator services, photography and video filming will be available. You can make and receive calls, receive and send SMS and MMS-messages, use the Internet only if you have a plastic card of a mobile provider.
Step 4
Place the battery in the niche on top of the installed SIM card, so that the metal contacts on the battery line up with the same contacts in the battery compartment. If necessary, insert the memory card into the dedicated slot, pushing it into the hole until it clicks into place.
Step 5
Replace the removed rear cover of the machine. Then connect the charger that you purchased with the Nokia 6300 to the corresponding socket at the bottom of the phone. Connect the device to the mains. After 2 hours and 45 minutes, finish charging the battery.
Step 6
To turn on the device, press and hold for a few seconds the rectangular button with the “minus” symbol in a circle, located on the top edge of the phone. As soon as an animated image of two shaking hands appears on the screen and a melody starts playing, release the power key.
