Flashing a home theater is a rather complex operation, which has features depending on the device model and the version of the previously installed firmware. Re-program your device only as a last resort.
Necessary
- - Internet connection;
- - CD-disk.
Instructions
Step 1
If you decide to reflash your home theater yourself, order a special disc with the original firmware program according to your device model, it will also contain the necessary information on the process itself. You can burn a disc yourself using the Nero program, having previously downloaded the necessary firmware from the Internet, but in this case, please note that positive user reviews are left about the program.
Step 2
It is best to download firmware from forums and torrents, where you can familiarize yourself with the nuances of the installation, which differ depending on the model and manufacturer of this device. Remember that there are different instructions for different cinemas, so do not use sequences that are not suitable for your model.
Step 3
After downloading the firmware files for your home theater, it is imperative to check for viruses. When burning a disc for flashing, use only non-rewritable CDs. After unzipping the firmware program, burn with the Nero program. Select Create Data Disc from the menu, then give it a title and record, finalizing the disc. Insert it into your theater drive.
Step 4
Go to the flashing process. Go to the service menu of the device and select software update. Specify from which device the firmware will be executed (in this case, your CD-ROM), start the process. Please note that it is better to disconnect the speakers from the main device first.
Step 5
Wait until the end of the firmware procedure, after which the system will automatically reboot the equipment. After turning it on, check its performance with the new firmware.
