To fix the reasons for the breakdown of the washing machine, you need to purchase a new belt. It is worth noting that a durable rubber belt will last much longer than a thin rubber belt. Using the "+" screwdriver, remove the top or back cover of the washing machine, depending on the model and manufacturer. Pull out the old belt that may already be loosened. If so, clean the motor drive shaft. If debris gets inside the engine, it can damage it. Put on the new belt in the same way as you removed the old belt. Place the belt in the middle of the drum shaft. If you place it on one of the ends of the shaft, it can fly off quickly.

Reassemble the washing machine in the reverse order, load a small amount of laundry, check its functionality. If no abnormal sounds are heard from the drum, the belt has been installed correctly.
