Navigator "Navitel" is a complex of programs and devices developed in Russia and intended for orientation on the ground. You can find out exactly the location of the place you need on the map that you need to load into the navigator's memory.

Step 1
The ability to install and update maps for the Navitel navigator is available both in manual and automatic modes. To install the cards yourself, you will need a computer or laptop with an active Internet connection. Maps of all of Russia, as well as its individual regions, are available for download both on the manufacturer's website and on various other resources. They are equally suitable for various systems on the basis of which smartphones, tablets and car navigation devices work: Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android and others.
Step 2
Unpack the archive with maps to any convenient place on the hard drive of your computer or laptop. Connect a device with installed Navitel software (navigator, smartphone, etc.) via USB. In the "My Computer" folder, it will be defined as a removable storage medium with the appropriate name. Open it and find the NavitelContent / Maps / folder. Copy the maps saved on your computer to it. If necessary, arrange them into several subfolders, for example, with the names of cities or regions.
Step 3
Disconnect the device from the computer and run the Navitel program on it. When launched, it should automatically search for updates and install the downloaded maps. If this did not happen, go to the Maps section through the main application menu and select the Open Atlas item. After selecting the necessary maps in the explorer, click "Create atlas".
Step 4
You can download and update maps directly from the Navitel program itself. To do this, the device must be connected to the Internet. Enter the main menu of the application, go to the "Settings" section and select the "Map" item. Activate the “Check for update. After that, a connection to the Navitel server will be established, and after a while you will see on the device screen a list of maps available for updating and downloading.
