Navitel is a navigation system software developed by CNT CJSC for users of GPS navigators, communicators and other mobile devices. The program contains a detailed map of Russia, provides for a detailed three-dimensional display of roads and highways, infrastructure facilities, offers additional information for the best orientation in an unfamiliar place.
Instructions
Step 1
Usually GPS navigators are sold with pre-loaded versions of maps and navigation software. However, some motorists need to install additional maps that are not included in this program. Also, owners of navigators often strive to combine several navigation programs on one device for ease of use.
Step 2
There are two ways to install Navitel on the navigator. Buy an official licensed program Navitel with maps and install it on your navigator, following the instructions step by step.

Download Navitel maps to your computer. Connect your navigator or USB stick with navigation software to your computer via USB cable. Create a separate folder at the root of the device with the program where you need to download additional maps. Do not change anything in the other folders, do not put anything in them. Use exclusively the newly created folder.
Step 4
In the new folder, create another folder for the card that you want to add to the program. Move the downloaded Navitel maps to the new directory under the maps. In the navigator program, select the "Open Atlas" menu item and create a folder for the new atlas (usually there is an icon with a folder at the bottom or at the top of the window). In the window that opens, specify the path to the folder with the new map, click on it and specify the command "Create atlas"
Step 5
After indexing is finished, click the checkmark button. When using a new map, simply select it from the list of atlases.

Or download Navitel maps to your computer from unofficial sites. Remember that by installing them on your navigation device, you risk not only the quality of orientation, but also the comfort of movement, the navigator itself, as well as the safety of your computer.
