The call forwarding service, which Megafon provides to its subscribers, allows you not to miss an important call for you, even if for some reason you cannot answer (for example, the phone will be out of the network coverage area and will simply be discharged). Set up call forwarding to any convenient number and continue communication without interference.

Step 1
There are two different ways to activate and deactivate this service. One of them is an appeal to the Megafon operator. Just dial the short number of the subscriber service 0500 if you are calling from a mobile phone or 507-7777 if you are calling from a landline. Note that both numbers serve both to set up call forwarding and to turn it off.
Step 2
To activate the service yourself, use the menu of your phone (though only if it is made according to the GSM standard). In addition, the operator has created and numbers of special USSD-commands to connect call forwarding. You can dial the following on the keypad: ** (forwarding service code) * (phone number) #. As soon as you need to disable any of the established types of call forwarding, use the USSD request ## 002 #. You can get accurate information about each forwarding method and its code directly on the operator's official website. There are 3 main options: code 67 (set for the time when the number is busy), 21 (to activate unconditional forwarding), 61 (the service will become active if there is no answer).
Step 3
Do not forget that setting up call forwarding requires the correct entry of the phone number. So be sure to indicate it only in the international format, that is, not through the eight, but through +7. Here is an example for activating the service to a landline phone: +7 (area code) (subscriber's phone number). To forward calls to the number of any Russian telecom operator, dial +7 (network code) (phone number). If the service is connected to a Megafon subscriber's number, dial in this way: +7 926 (number). Forwarding to voicemail requires a call to +79262000222.
