Jailbreak iPad allows you to access Apple's file system to make any modifications, get the ability to change the interface or install third-party applications. Tethered or untethered jailbreak is performed depending on the firmware version.
Necessary
iPad with jailbreak compatible firmware
Instructions
Step 1
The tethered jailbreak allows you to access the file system of the tablet only while the device is running. After restarting the iPad, all changes made will be deleted and the file system of the device will be locked again. Untethered jailbreak allows you to unlock the device permanently. The iPad will be able to reboot normally while saving all the settings made.
Step 2
Check your device's firmware before jailbreak. You can get information about its version in the item "Software version" by first connecting the tablet to the computer via iTunes. In the device, you can go to the menu "Settings" - "General" - "About this device". The installed iOS is displayed in the "Version" line.
Step 3
If the firmware version of your device is marked 6.1.3 or lower, you can perform both tethered and untethered unlock. For iPad 1G with firmware version 5.1, installation is possible only via tethered jailbreak.
Step 4
Download the archive of the evasi0n program to your computer via the Internet. Unpack the resulting package using the WinRAR program on your computer, and then go to the resulting folder and run the executable file of the program. Connect your iPad to your computer before starting.

Press the Jailbreak button and wait for the procedure to finish. When prompted to unlock the device, answer “Yes”. Then left-click on the Jailbreak desktop shortcut that appears and wait for the unlocking procedure to finish and a message about successful installation.
Step 6
The jailbreak is complete. After starting the device, connect to WiFi and select the Cydia menu item, then wait for the software repositories to update.
