Subscribers of the operator Utel can activate the service called "Mobile Internet", which makes it possible to use the Internet resources anywhere and at any time. In this case, access to the network is possible using a telephone with GPRS support or a telephone connected to a computer.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to use the "Mobile Internet", then you must find out if your phone supports GPRS technology. Similar information can be found in the instructions for your mobile phone. In addition, you need to activate the GPRS service itself, set up your phone or, if necessary, your computer.
Step 2
The GPRS service connection is available to all subscribers of the operator by sending an SMS message to the short number 100. In the SMS text, specify the code 311 * 1 (for activation) or 311 * 0 (for deactivation). Also, you are provided with USSD requests * 100 * 311 * 1 # and * 100 * 311 * 0 # to connect and disconnect, respectively. Do not forget about the voice menu available at 100 * 311.
Step 3
Thanks to the U-cabinet, Utel clients can also activate services. To do this, you need to go to the office itself, select the phone number to be connected on the page called "Summary balance" or in the side menu. The page "GSM mobile phone: …" will open in front of you, where you will need to expand the "Tariff plan …" block (you can do this by clicking on the "Tariff settings" link). Check the box next to the corresponding service and confirm the saving of the new tariff settings.
Step 4
If you are going to access the Internet through a computer, then to configure it, you must enter some data. Enter internet.usi.ru in the "APN (Access Point Name)" column. Leave the field for the username and password blank. Enter the number * 99 *** 1 # as a telephone for connection.
