The times when it was possible to listen to the radio only through radio receivers have sunk into oblivion. Now, any Internet user can not only listen to his favorite station, but also create his own broadcasting point, moreover, of any topic. Making your own radio and broadcasting it to the network is not so difficult. All you need is a server and programs that simulate a DJ console.
Instructions
Step 1
Download Shoutcast Server. Unpack the archive to a convenient place on your hard drive, install the server. Open the folder with the program, inside it find the executable file called sc_serv.exe, run it.
Step 2
The server is running. Now download and then install Sam Broadcast 3, which simulates a DJ console and gives you many options for working with audio tracks for radio broadcasting. Also, download Mysql for the program to work correctly. Next, open the "Start" menu and click on the "Run" section. Then enter cmd to invoke the command line.
Step 3
Next, enter the command cd C: mysqlbin in a new window, followed by mysqld to start the corresponding service. When Mysql is installed, install Sam Broadcast. Select the Mysql database during the installation process to create the table system, and make sure that Mysql is running during the installation process.
Step 4
Run the program, scan the directories on your PC in order to track which of them have music files. After scanning the folders, add the audio tracks you like to the program database. Then set it up - select the option called Config, write in the Station Details section any text that describes your creation - a radio station. Uncheck Show station details on AudioRealm.com.
Step 5
In the Statistic Relays section, select the option called Shoutcast Statistic Relay, then enter the following data: Host: localhost; Port: 8000; Password: ***** To change the password, open the sc_serv.ini file in the Shoutcast directory, then edit it. Check the box next to Private Relay.
Step 6
In the sections called encoder mp3 and mp3pro encoder, set the appropriate quality and playback format (depending on the quality and speed of the Internet channel), enter the port and server address in the Server Details subsection.
Step 7
Now start the server, then open Desktop B in the program. Select Encoder and click on the start button in order to synchronize the simulation of the DJ console and the server. In the option called Desktop A, start the necessary audio files by first selecting them and clicking on the Play button.
