Step 1
Remember that it makes sense to reflash the player only if you observe malfunctions in its operation. Find and download the program required to update the player's software. It is better to use utilities offered by manufacturers. This will save you from potential problems.
Step 2
Select the firmware version. Usually, the official software can also be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. These files have bin or rfw permission. The Flasher and Customer Updater programs are most often used to update the firmware. In your case, a different application may be required.
Step 3
Turn on your mp3 player and put it into software update mode. To do this, use the built-in menu of the device. Sometimes this process is carried out through the program. Connect your device to your computer. To do this, use a standard USB cable.
Step 4
Launch the program and select the Update Firmware or Firmware Update menu. Select the previously downloaded file and click the Update or Start button. Wait for a window to appear informing you that the process has completed successfully. Sometimes during the flashing process, the player may reboot several times. Never disconnect the equipment from the computer. This process can damage the device.
Step 5
If the firmware is unsuccessful, then try using a different software version. Ideally, it is better to download the version that was originally installed from the site. This will help restore the player to working condition. Remember that all data will be deleted during the flashing process. This applies not only to the saved audio files, but also to additional changes made to the device program.
