Step 1
The first method fictitiously violates the security of the device, but the most popular way to install games is jailbreak (jailbreak). Previously, using a phone with a jailbreak and installing games on such a device was considered piracy against developers of applications for the iOS operating system, but since about mid-2010, jailbreak is allowed, although it is not recommended by Apple. Jailbreak is a procedure for jailbreaking the closed operating system of a phone or player. Thanks to the jailbreak, the iPod Touch can bypass the identification of games by binding to the customer data, since most games for this platform are paid. Jailbreak allows you to install games for free. To do this, you need to install the Apple iTunes program on your computer and synchronize the iPod Touch with the iTunes library.

After that, you need to download the game you are interested in in *. IPA format (standard format for applications for iPhone, iPod and iPad). Double click on the downloaded file to add it to your iTunes library. Go to the "Applications" tab in the program and check the box next to the game icon, then click the "Sync" button in the lower right corner of the Apple iTunes program. Unpacking the game to the player will start. Once syncing is complete, you should be able to find the shortcut for the game on the iPod Touch on the last busy page of the terminal.

The second way is the official purchase of games from the AppStore. The AppStore is a virtual application store where you can download games and programs. All applications in it are divided into paid and free.

To download free applications, you need an account in the AppStore, which can be created both from the iPod Touch (requires an Internet connection via Wi-Fi), and from a computer via iTunes. If you do not plan to purchase paid games, select the location - USA. The "No credit card" item will be available in the credit information settings. If you plan to buy games for money, you will need to enter the card number and secret code in the payment information. However, VISA Electron and MasterCard Maestro cards are not supported.
Step 5
To install a paid or free game, find it in the AppStore and click the Buy button. Some games offer to accept a license agreement. In this case, buttons like No and Accept / Yes will appear on the screen - press the latter. The player will immediately start loading the game. The download is complete when the blue download bar on the game's desktop icon fills up and disappears.
