The iPod is one of the most popular media players around. With it, you can listen to music of any common formats. To download the songs you want to your device, you need to use Apple's iTunes software.
Instructions
Step 1
To work with the contents of the iPod's memory, you need to synchronize it with your computer. To do this, download the iTunes application from the official Apple website. After the download procedure, run the resulting file and install the program on your computer in accordance with the instructions of the installer.
Step 2
Launch iTunes using the shortcut on your desktop. Wait for the program to load and go to the "File" - "Add files to library" menu. If you don't want to add each song separately, select the "Add Folder to Library" menu item. This will give you the ability to upload all files from the specified directory to the iPod at once.
Step 3
In the window that appears, specify the path to the necessary files or folders with songs for the iPod. You can also add a melody by opening the "Media Library" item and moving the necessary files and folders by dragging while holding the left mouse button.
Step 4
Then connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable that came with the device. Wait for the program to detect the player, and then click on the iPod icon in the upper right corner of the program.
Step 5
To sync songs, go to the Music section in the center of the iTunes window. Set the parameters of automatic or manual synchronization using the corresponding menu items of the program. Once you complete all the settings, click the Sync button.
Step 6
Wait until the process of adding songs to iPod is finished. After the procedure is completed, you will see a corresponding notification on the screen. As soon as the synchronization is over, you can disconnect the player from the computer and go to the music section to check the downloaded melodies.
