Disable some features of your antivirus software. Naturally, disable automatic virus database updates. This feature can be enabled when connected to a high-speed internet connection.

Try to find all programs that use an internet connection. Disable their automatic update features. To quickly turn off all unnecessary services, install the Advanced System Care program.

Run this utility. Open the System Diagnostics menu. Highlight Optimization and press the Scan button. After completing this process, click the "Repair" button.
