Huawei P Smart was announced in January 2019 by Huawei. Does it have drawbacks and is it worth the attention of users?
Design
In appearance, the Huawei P Smart is very similar to the Nova 7X. The front part is 80 percent covered with a screen, there are upper and lower frames. The back panel consists of a metal cover, as well as a top and bottom plastic insert. It is best to use your device with a case on, as the back will be scratched and scratched. This is especially evident if the color of the smartphone is black. It is produced, by the way, in three color variations - gold, blue and black. The dimensions of the smartphone are 150 x 72 x 7.45 mm, and the weight is 153 grams. It seems very light in the hands.
On the bottom there is a 3.5 mm headphone port, a microUSB jack (used for transferring files between devices and charging), as well as a microphone. On the left is a slot for two nanoSIM cards, one of which can be used for microSD memory cards. There is a built-in fingerprint scanner at the back, which responds fairly quickly to touch.
Camera
In 2018, the vast majority of smartphones come with two or more cameras used as main cameras, and the Huawei P Smart is no exception. The main lens has 13 MP, the second is needed to expand the shooting angle and has 2 MP. The additional module can only work in conjunction, and you cannot take pictures on it separately, like Huawei P10.
There are a lot of elements in the settings, after changes in which you can put a different quality of photos.
Thanks to the combination of two modules and autofocus, you can get extremely good photos, despite the rather narrow palette of colors. The night mode works more or less normally, it does not transmit unnecessary shadows. If necessary, you can use the LED flash, although the quality drops noticeably with it.
The front camera has 8 MP and does the same job. The camera's videos can be recorded in Full HD at 30 frames per second.
